Sunday in the Park is comprised of two features; nearly 200 outstanding entries are on display on the Sam Posey Straight in the Concours d’ Elegance, with an additional 800+ cars celebrating the event around the rest of the 1.5 mile track in the Gathering of the Marques enthusiast meet.
Lime Rock Park’s Historic Festival weekend (Sept 3-6 this year) is a unique event combining three days of vintage racing and a Concours d’Elegance – all on the same property, the historic Lime Rock Park. LIme Rock Park is unique in American road racing history as the only continuously operating circuit that remains the same today as it was when opened in 1957.
Now in its 38th year, the Historic Festival at Lime Rock Park has been a time-honored tradition since 1982. The event opens on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020, with the Vintage Race Car & Sports Car Parade, a 17-mile parade through the adjacent towns. On Friday, Saturday and Monday, the Festival is in full swing with vintage racing at its best featuring VSCCA & VRG.
